NEWT GINGRICH, former Speaker of the House and Presidential candidate, is the bestselling author of more than 25 fiction and nonfiction books, including the acclaimed Gettysburg trilogy and the Pacific War series. He is the longest serving teacher of the Joint War Fighting Course for Major Generals at Air University and is an honorary Distinguished Visiting Scholar and Professor at the National Defense University. Gingrich resides in Virginia with his wife, Callista, with whom he hosts and produces documentaries, including A City Upon A Hill.
WILLIAM R. FORSTCHEN is the author of the New York Times bestselling John Matherson series (One Second After, One Year After, The Final Day) and the award-winning novel We Look Like Men of War, among numerous other books. Forstchen holds a Ph.D. in History from Purdue University, with specializations in military history and the history of technology. Forstchen is currently a Faculty Fellow and Professor of History at Montreat College, near Asheville North Carolina. He resides near Asheville with his daughter Meghan.
