Katia Lief is a beautiful writer and a mesmerizing storyteller. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to "escape and melt within the pages, get scooped up in a fabulous world of Katia's making." It is suspenseful, fearful, sensitive, and even loving. A great read for anyone! She really hit this one out of the ballpark!

A wonderfully well written book! I couldn't wait and yet didn't want to know whether Sammy was hurt or even killed horribly! I certainly didn't want Emily to end as the other Mother had. I felt so proud of David. What a wonderful young man!

As a mother with a 9 y/o little boy, I was appauled and unbelievably creeped out by this story... but I couldn't stop reading it! I just had to find out what happened next. Katia Lief is an amazing author.
