I can't get enough of Lindsay Buroker aka Ruby Lionsdrake, I think I have read just about everything she has written under both pen names. She has a fantastic imagination and a genius mind for story telling. You can't help but fall in love with each and every character, they really come to life and you'll feel every emotion you can possibly have while reading each one. She has an uncanny ability to keep it so exciting you can't put the books down and when you're done, you can't wait to read the next one!

The multiple points of view occasionally tripped me up, but it was nice to see some new (and old) perspectives. I felt the Nurian assassin could have been expanded upon more, but I enjoyed reading about Sespian and Mahliki (especially from their POVs), I'd love to see more of them.

I rarely spend money on play books but once in awhile I find a story that I must continue to the end, this has been one of those stories.
