Despite the author's efforts, this book comes across as a comedic parody of action genres. Characters are so one dimensional, they are cardboard cut outs. If a man gets his arm melted by lava, as Jack does, anyone in the world would emote some sort of pain ... but not Jack... instead, he grits his overly square jaw and requests a robot hand from the books poorly written Gandalf. The child should be given a belting each time it smartarses an adult by simpering out "Swear jar!". As for the ludicrous call signs... I am shocked that 'Fuzzy' wasn't actually called 'Golliwog'... because that is how juvenile the writing is. I can't even bring myself to discuss the abuse of italics and exclaimation marks. Only read this book by accident... it brought me to my knees in horror.

A truly EPIC read! And I'm not just saying EPIC because it is way overused these days, it is EPIC! Unlike arguably most Reilly books, this book has good characters and good development of these characters too. If anyone's ever seen and enjoyed the movie Inception, when you're reading this book it feels like the feeling you get when Inception ended-the WOW! NO WAY! feeling. It's got weapons, trap systems, conspiracy theories, a character called pooh bear, historical references and an Australian who fights off America! YEAH! But seriously, read this NOW!
