The book had me thinking about how much do we really know our family? That is the question that Alejandro "Sandy" Stern has to make after a major tragedy hits his family and a web of lies and deceptions unfolds affecting all and leaving no one untouched. The characters are likeable and they all very human, not entirely good or bad, only faulty as we all are.

A well written, complex, slow burning legal thriller.
