Ratings and reviews

A very unique story and overall entertaining and enjoyable to read. The writing is a bit pedantic. the descriptions of landscape, surroundings, rooms, etc. can be very bland and confusing, which causes the reader to re-read sentences and paragraphs to make sure they understood correctly. There are a lot of plots and storylines going on all over the place which makes it hard to keep up. Not because of the quantity of them, but because you don't get drawn in to any of the storylines, they're so bland. So you don't remember them when they come up again. I gave it 3 instead of 4 stars because the end was extremely disappointing. There are many characters that don't get an ending (you never find out what happens to them). As for the characters that do get an ending, well, it's very short lived and anticlimactic. You're left with a lot of questions and very, very little closure.
