About this ebook

Sometimes, when the nightmare ends, the terror follows . . .

For Hannah Shapiro, a beautiful young American student, the nightmare began eight years ago in Los Angeles, when Jack Morgan, owner of Private – the world's most exclusive detective agency – saved her from a horrific death.

She fled her country, but can't flee her past. The terror followed her to London, and now it is down to former Royal Military Police Sergeant Dan Carter, head of Private London, to save her all over again.

Carter draws on the global resources of Private in a desperate race against the clock.

Private may be the largest and most advanced detection agency in the world, but what they don't have is the one thing they need - time.

I enjoyed this book and would read another similar book. There was the "who done it" suspense that made you keep reading to find out the answers. I found that the multiple stories in one were not too much of a distraction and they did come together in the end, with a few surprises. Having multiple plots did make the book a little disjointed but the multiple plots were able to be followed reasonably well.

Really enjoyed this as I have most James Patterson books. In fact I now much prefer .any of his books to Patricia Cornwall of whom I used to be an avid fan.
