About this ebook

Santiago, an old Cuban fisherman, has gone 84 days without catching a fish. Confident that his bad luck is at an end, he sets off alone, far into the Gulf Stream, to fish. Santiago’s faith is rewarded, and he quickly hooks a marlin...a marlin so big he is unable to pull it in and finds himself being pulled by the giant fish for two days and two nights.

Not a word wasted. The most elegantly crafted story of the 20th century. Even amongst other Nobel Prize winners it stands out. If this book doesn't speak to you, you have no ears.
Glitched :/

A richly detailed snapshot of a fisherman's life in South America, a thoughtful exploration of an old man's existence, and of course, a study in man's place in the natural order. Good classic read :)
