One night, during a sleepover, Alison goes missing. Her body is never found. The girls mourn her death but move apart after time, assuming their secrets have disappeared with Alison too.

They all think their secrets are safe, until they starting receiving messages from the mysterious A - who knows exactly what they are all up to, and is threatening to spill the beans . . .

I started off with reading the books and completed arc one i.e. till book 4..... And omg, I have no words to describe how I feel! The story, the plotline, the characters, the writing style, the slow revelation.....all of it is so so so so FREAKING good...I practically finished arc one in four days....it's fabbbb.... And you TOTALLY GOTTA LOVE PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. After arc one though (after the first A is revealed) I started watching the TV SHOW.. And to be very very very honest, that's like, way better than the book series!!!! And that's saying something, CZ the visual is not always so good. The TV show is fabbbbbbbbbbb... The story has been tweaked with a lot, but omg the FREAKING acting!!!!! It's amazeeeee....my all time fav is Spencer, though I love all the girls equally. Troian Bellisario is da best actress. Shes amazeeeee... Not that the book isn't good, just that the visual impact is much more thrilling (and that's surprising CZ movies and TV stuff don't really appeal to me). I'm presently on season 5.

OMG just finished the book OMG I love it soooo much can u please please make more I have watched every single hahah I'm single but anyway every single episode they where soo good thx u for making this book kind regards Koushla byrne
