About the author

Albert Able is a retired hotelier and lives with his family in Jersey. Albert took up fiction writing as a hobby and published 'We Promise Not to Tell' a romantic novel based on his hotel experiances. Since then he has written several thrillers in his 'Alex Scott Files' series 'A Deal to Die For?' being the latest, he occasionally writes short stories some of which have been successfully published. Formerly a private pilot he loved the joy and liberty of flying but not the spartan discipline associated with it. "Gets in the way of socialising!" Albert was also a member of the RNLI Life Boat crew and very active scuba diver, he is still a sailing, powerboat enthusiast but the current passion is Clay Target Shooting. "It's a challenging recreational sport where you mix with a great bunch of people of all ages and from all walks of life." Oh and he's a dog lover too!
