About the author
After studying English at university, Dominic Barker became a stand up comic in a comedy double act appearing on bills with future stars such as Frank Skinner and Alan Davies. He then taught English, before turning his hand to writing. His books are infused with his wonderful sense of humour and understanding of what makes children want to read. Dominic lives in Kendal.
