Got introduced to the series be accident, while in the library, looking for something different. Read, book 6, The Damned and loved it so much, I bought the whole series and read books 1-12 in 2 1/2 months. Its Buffy meets Belly with a lil De Vinci Code thrown in. And the way Banks intertwines real life problems and events within her world, while incorporating all the worlds major religions is simply masterful. Twilight Saga couldn't spit shine Vampire Huntress Legends Saga's left boot. 12/10⭐s

This series takes a little getting used to so be patient and each book delves deeper into spiritual contracts and balance. In this book you are introduced to the world of the Neturu and the lower realms. Take your time and enjoy the ride.

i love this series and the neteru academy part one.....i just hate that a sweet smart beautiful soul was taken from us so early...may she rest in peace and satisfaction with being one of the best writers ever

L. A. Banks is the author of the Vampire Huntress Legend series and the Crimson Moon Novels. She had a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a master's in fine arts from Temple University. Banks considered herself a shape-shifter. She wrote romance, women's fiction, crime and suspense, and of course, dark vampire huntress lore. She lived with her daughter in an undisclosed lair somewhere in Philadelphia.
