A Time Best YA Book of All Time (2021)

Run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with E. L. Konigsburg’s beloved classic and Newbery Medal–winning novel From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

When Claudia decided to run away, she planned very carefully. She would be gone just long enough to teach her parents a lesson in Claudia appreciation. And she would go in comfort-she would live at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She saved her money, and she invited her brother Jamie to go, mostly because be was a miser and would have money.

Claudia was a good organizer and Jamie bad some ideas, too; so the two took up residence at the museum right on schedule. But once the fun of settling in was over, Claudia had two unexpected problems: She felt just the same, and she wanted to feel different; and she found a statue at the Museum so beautiful she could not go home until she bad discovered its maker, a question that baffled the experts, too.

The former owner of the statue was Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Without her—well, without her, Claudia might never have found a way to go home.

Mixed up files is a best book for a forth grader perfect words and text. The book well for me last up to 10 years well that was my max but yours could be way bigger! Mixed up Files is not as well challenging for fully mature humans but for 4th and 5th graders it could be a great challenge if they love to read. It's a great book it keeps you on the end of your toes oh most like as you were standing on a tip of a cliff and if you have not of known what have happened next you would have fallen. All then maybe in the beginning hard under standing and need parental help with the book under standing it right just in case your child or if you are a child it's so you don't pick up the wrong thing. Really Mixed up Files is a great book indeed when you start reading further you under stand the text more. Once again it's a great challenge and i'm sure 4th and 5th graders would love it. This is just how i predict kids would react to the book but kids have there own mind some would like this book and some would not but we all are different and have our own taste in books so I just hope you enjoy this well thought out review and check this book out if you would like not my choice. Bye!!!
