About this ebook

THE BATTLE TO SAVE HUMANITY HAS BEGUN.

Off the coast of Antarctica, a research vessel discovers a mysterious structure buried deep within an iceberg. Entombed for thousands of years, it can't possibly be man-made. But a secretive and ruthless cabal think they know what it is... and what it means.

The Immari have spent millennia preparing for the return of humanity's ancient enemy. Faced with an extinction-level threat, they believe mankind's only chance of survival will mean sacrificing 99.9% of the planet's population. It's a price the Immari are prepared to pay.

Geneticist Kate Warner and intelligence agent David Vale may have a chance to avert the looming catastrophe, but only if they can decode the secrets of the Atlantis Gene and unlock the truth about humanity's origins.

No idea what the characters look like... how old are they? Author forgets about touch and smell as senses that characters experience... extremely flat writing... no emotions as described by the author. A few classes on characterisation would be beneficial in order to inject some sort of personality into the writing.

The premise of this story is totally original and the author executed the telling of it so well it blew my mind! The writing is flawless as far as I'm concerned and I do have pretty high standards. The story has no holes, and although it's incredibly far fetched it's totally believable. I have read other reviews saying the book is slow to start but I think the book has this build up to pull you in. Loved it! Purchased the other two books already and can't wait to devour them in a few sittings!

Very slow start but warmed up nicely. Not the best book ever but worth a read. Will definitely try the next one.
