About this ebook

Will the truth harm them -- or save them?

When Nigeria's corrupt military government kills their mother, twelve-year-old Sade and her brother Femi think their lives are over. Out of fear for their safety, their father, an outspoken journalist, decides to smuggle the children out of Nigeria and into London, where their uncle lives. But when they get to the cold and massive city, they find themselves lost and alone, with no one to trust and no idea when -- or if -- they will ever see their father again.

The Other Side of Truth is a gripping adventure story about courage, family, and the power of truth.

It is an adventurous story where in the beginning, Sade loses her mother as the Nigerian government kills their mother. Then their father has no choice but to send their children to some safe place. They are sent under false passport and names to London and their father promises them that he will join them as he retains his passport (which has been seized by the police). They go to London as false names as Yemi and Ade. At the airport, Mrs. Bankole (their fake mother) bribes the policemen to pass them through the checking. They finally get into the plane and land safely in London. This was a plan but it fails. Mrs. Bankole is gone and Uncle Dele is lost. Now they stuggled every moment of their life. They were cold and abandoned in London until their father has joined them in London. Written by, Shayanullah Jan Karachi, Pakistan
