About this ebook

Who knew love could be so amazingā€”and stupefying? Not Christian. He was clueless when he started spying on the royal family through his telescope. He lives in a cave with a troll for a dad, after all. If his dad had only warned him about all that mind-boggling love stuff, maybe things wouldn't be such a mess. But then, maybe, Princess Marigold would be dead.

But Christian wasn't warned. And now that he's fallen for the princess, it's up to him to untwist an odd love triangleā€”er, rectangleā€”and foil a scheming queen who wants to take over the kingdom, even if it means bumping off her own daughter.

With echoes of William Goldman's modern classic The Princess Bride, Jean Ferris's hilarious parody of "Once upon a time . . ." overflows with oddball characters and sage observationsā€”and ends with a slapstick happily-ever-after that's full of surprises.

I read this book in middle school and could never think of the name of it. But I finally found it and I love it all over again. I just started the second book recently and they're both good reads so far. This book is a really good book to read to children as I bedtime story. It's full of adventure and love and magic. If that sounds like your cup of tea then you should read it.

I like this book. Its the kind of book that i got hooked on and wanted to read ahead of the class. I love the romance between Christian and princess marigold. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who likes a good romance book but i don't if people don't like long books.

This book is off the roof! I loved this book when I first read the words. I love the ending when Christain was the long lost prince, the wedding, and when he built the bridge.
