The last update has made the entire book one page so no matter where I am in the book, when I close it it will reopen at the first page. Very annoying. I give up.

Read this book first when it came out..re reading it now it is still as good as I remember. A quality you don't find often in a rereading.

I have owned this book for years and loaned it to many others who found it as equally great as I did. Keeps you on the edge of your seat and you feel like you are in the nitty gritty of it.

About the author

Michael Marshall Smith was born and raised – itinerantly – in the USA and the UK. Since leaving University he has been writing: for radio, for the movies, for TV and for print. After the success of Spares, Warner Brothers have already bought the rights to his third novel, One of Us, amid intense competition. His novels are bestsellers in translation around the world.
