About this ebook

For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art-and he is the city's most accomplished artist.

For Azoth, survival is precarious. Something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he's grown up in the slums, and learned to judge people quickly - and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint.

But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name. As Kylar Stern, he must learn to navigate the assassins' world of dangerous politics and strange magics - and cultivate a flair for death.

so reading the actual book first, the graphic novel wasn't the worst thing ever printed. it followed the story but it was missing so many details that really brought the relationships together there were scenes missing that needed to be in there and there were rewrites that just didn't feel like brent weeks. over all I would recommend you spend the extra 10 dollars and get the whole series because while the graphic novel is a good read it more summarizes the entire book. if you have read the series then this is a great novelty item to add to your library.

It was amazing if you'd read the books, otherwise its missing a lot of character building content. Still a great adaptation to the book

Some small minor changes from the original story, obviously for length constraints. Logan's initially love interst was cut out completely for this graphic novel. I also always imagined Kylar with a bit more comical emotions, he looked a little lacking in facial expressions. Where was his trademark mischievious smirk? ;) Other than those few small things, I loved being able to see one of my favorite book series illustrated in all its glory, flawed or not. Well worth the purchase.
