Ratings and reviews

Fire, had some really good parts. Parts that make your heart pound with excitement. Parts that make you think early on in the book, that you've found something special, and its true, I wouldn't unread this book. I just wish i didnt have to read it all. In terms of the series its probably the weakest of the three books. Its was a good-ish read.

I read graceling in a day couldnt put it down so was really looking foward to reading fire and im disappointed got half way thru and still have no interested. But thts my opinion..

Fantastic book, my all-time favorite. Accidentally came across it a few years back and read it without first reading the first book in the series (Graceling), but it made no difference. The whole series is exceptional and a must read, but all books do differ but have a tied story line with different protagonists (all females). Another series that has a similar feel is throne of glass by Sarah J. Maas, also a must read! If you haven't started reading yet, stop everything and start!

KRISTIN CASHORE grew up in the northeast Pennsylvania countryside as the second of four daughters. She received a bachelor's degree from Williams College and a master's from the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College, and she has worked as a dog runner, a packer in a candy factory, an editorial assistant, a legal assistant, and a freelance writer. She has lived in many places (including Sydney, New York City, Boston, London, Austin, and Jacksonville, Florida), and she currently lives in the Boston area. Graceling, her first book, was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults.
