About this ebook

This novel continues the all-new, completely original story begun in the first three MASS EFFECT stories. The heroine, Gillian, was once the subject of horrifying scientific experiments, but now, after her rescue, she is beginning to master her amazing powers. But when she falls under the sway of a radical group who believes their powers make them superior to ordinary humans, she finds herself faced with a choice between her destiny . . . and her humanity.

After the brilliant writing of drew and the universe he built up in the previous three books this one not only misses the mark but didn't know what building target practice was in that day. My personal favourite mistakes are, a girl with autism magically 'growing out of it' like asthma, the same girl now becoming best friends with the boy who bullied her mercilessly in previous installments and the insinuation that a krogan can be killed by simply stabbing him

Very poorly written, and rushed. Nothing more than a money grab attempt. The author clearly didn't bother to understand mass effect universe properly.

You have to read all four books to get the understanding. The story in the book wasnt ment to continue or start of the game.It was ment to deliver to the players all the origin/background stories of some of the important characters like Adm. Anderson, Kahlee Sanders, Kai Leng, Aria and more.As you play the game, these characters will refer to their background a bit.So if you have read the books, you will understand fully. So if the commentors havent played the game of read all four books, i suggest you dont judge a book by its cover (Pun intended).
