This fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, action, drama and romance as danger closes in on this couple. The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery and details that make the reader feel as if they are part of the action. The characters are strong, bewitching and easily related to ensuring that the reader gets caught up in their stories. The chemistry between Cici and Deacon is certainly not a problem it explodes off the pages with lots of sizzling passion and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but the relationship is a up and down, on and off, round and round merry go round of drama and passion that keeps the reader smiling and chuckling as the two try to work out there problems. The suspense is spine tingling and the romance entertaining and the author has certainly created a vampire romance worth reading with some surprising twists that the reader doesn’t see coming. I was totally caught up in the story from the very beginning and I wasn’t ready to see it end. I certainly hope that the author plans to write more books.
