About this ebook

Twenty-five-year-old Jack Sparrow is a clean-cut merchant seaman pursuing a legitimate career as a first mate for the East India Trading Company. He sometimes thinks back to his boyhood pirating days, but he doesn't miss Teague's scrutiny or the constant threat of the noose. Besides, he doesn't have much choice—he broke the Code when he freed a friend who had been accused of rogue piracy, and he can no longer show his face in Shipwreck Cove. When Jack's ship is attacked by pirates and his captain dies in the altercation, he suddenly finds himself in command.

I am absolutely fanatical about Pirates, so this one is a goldmine for myself. For others interested in the franchise and backstory, it is rife with sailing references and movie quips, a delight to read for those that enjoy such things.

the disney movies were great.. as I was reading this book I thought I was in the movies... transported back in time To be with jack.. and experience what he was experiencing. I thought that this was the original book. written before the movies ever came out. but it was written afterwards.. with great eloquence and detail. so accurate to the movies.

I love it so much that it's still as funny and educational as the movies. Thank God, I still have the chance to read it on e-book since the book is not available in any bookstore anymore! 😊
