I enjoyed this book, it’s a nice, easy, quick read. Ideal for a train journey or a lunch break. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment, it wasn’t too deep, but was well written. Mati and Vaughan are strong characters, who you cannot help but like and they have you cheering for them from page one. There’s plenty of sex, sarcasm, fun and laughter, intrigue and ‘will they/won’t they’, all helped along or hindered by a cast of heroes and villains that I am sure make this a great series.

I love that Deanna Chase is doing a spin-off of the Jade Calhoun series! What is even better is that it is off to a fantastic start!!! Vaughn and Mati are really interesting and have great chemistry! When you mix in a super exciting storyline, you get the great book that you usually get from Deanna Chase. I have a feeling Coven Pointe has a whole lot of really good tales to share with us, and I can't wait to read them! While this is considered a novella, it is just as thrilling as a book!

Witches, Incubus, black magic, demons and true love. What more could a girl ask for? Well maybe a couple of Fae would liven up the pot. Hahaha just a few of my favorite things. Till next time.
