About this ebook

Fifteen years ago, a young author surprised and enchanted readers with his first novel—the story of Fritti Tailchaser, a courageous tom cat in a world of whiskery heroes and villains, of feline gods and strange, furless creatures called M'an.

The book was Tailchaser's Song, the author was Tad Williams. The legend was born.

I've read this book almost once a year since 1987. Its one of my absolute favorites and I think everyone should experience it at least once. I'd suggest experiencing in paperback first since there are a few misspellings in the native words of the cats... also, half of page 114 and all of page 115 seems to be missing.

I purchased this version some time ago on another phone and paid 7.99. I thought that when I got my new device with the same carrier, plan, and number that I could have it here. Now it's saying that I must purchase it AGAIN! That's not fair! I absolutely LOVE this book and read it often on my other device.. I want to be able to read it again!

One of my favorites from when I was younger, and I still keep a copy on my bookshelf. Elements are reminiscent of Watership Downs, but weaves its own mythology as the story develops. It's well worth your time.
