Fenris Dalka has seen way too much evil in his life and wonders if it's time to end it all, when a rare creature entered his rough establishment. She has red hair and eyes green like emeralds. He realizes that this is the one person he's waited his entire life for: his soulmate. Tatijana is of the Dragonseeker lineage, and until encased ice only in communication with her sister when she is awakened, by 'something'. More like someone. She describes herself as the impulsive one. And a wry sense of humor. What keeps me from giving five stars: "Carpathian for Dummies" appendix.

Must read all the books to understand the heritage and back ground for the other series that can come out of this series. I look forward to reading about lycans,panthers and leapards. I can't wait to see the linage of these people and how the carpathiens are integrated into the linage and see the descentsof all the people. Thank you for your imagination that helps me keep the pain of fibromalgia away from my mind.
