Ali Cronin is the author of Skins: The Novel, the Girl Heart Boy books, and bits and pieces for newspapers and magazines. She has a borderline unhealthy interest in musicals (not only because she's got a thing for Captain Von Trapp. So brooding! So chiselled! So not-a-Nazi!), loves a stud (fash, not men), and loves to bake (although not bloody cupcakes). You can follow her at alicronin.com and on Twitter: @ali_cronin
Kate Kingsley grew up in New York and London. Her first job was at GQ magazine, where she performed glamorous tasks like opening mail, answering her boss's phone and tagging along to restaurant reviews with the food critic. Eventually she graduated to writing and editing, and got to interview people like James McAvoy and designer Paul Smith. Kate is the author of the five YOUNG, LOADED AND FABULOUS books, chronicling the friendships, feuds and love triangles of catty teens at boarding school. UNDER THE MISTLETOE is her most recent book and her first ever novella. Kate also works with the charity First Story, where she runs creative writing workshops with talented teens in challenging London schools. Follow Kate on Twitter: @KateKingsley
Esme Taylor spends her days dreaming about romantic scenarios (lately involving Benedict Cumberbatch, but subject to change) and is thrilled to have the opportunity to write them down. She's been writing fiction since she was a teen (romantic scenarios featuring George Michael), but didn't finish a novel until 2004 (romantic scenario featuring a thinly-disguised Matt Damon). She lives in Lancashire with her husband (looks a bit like Christopher Eccleston) and two children and is the author of three YA novels under her own name, Keris Stainton.
Harriet has worked in TV, fashion journalism (writing for everyone from J17 to INSTYLE, and once yelling on the radio about her love of Christmas jumpers), and she now moonlights as a human spellchecker. She was born in Nottingham, has lived in Southampton, Cambridge, Surrey, and Newcastle (where she got a first class degree in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), and now shares a freezing house in south London with her cat, Stanley (who's a girl, by the way), and assorted friends. When she's not writing, Harriet refreshes Twitter a lot, eats too many burritos, and does felt-tip pen drawings of unicorns. Follow Harriet on Twitter: @hapgoodness
