What she uncovers sends shock waves through the corridors of power. The NSA is being held hostage - not by guns or bombs, but by a code so complex that if released would cripple U.S. intelligence.

Having read all the books in the Robert Langdon series I wasn't sure what to expect from Digital Fortress, as it's so different, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story flowed well and the suspense was good with a few twists. The characters were generally well thought out, although a couple seemed a little too good to be true, and the tech was obviously well researched. Definitely worth reading.

It was a suspenseful book, but it felt like it was predictable and a style that had been done before. I felt like there weren't really any twists due to the predictable nature of the story. It felt like I was able to tell where the story was going and was about 5 pages ahead the whole time. There was some good use of the technology, and it's what drew me to read it.

As with most Dan Brown novels, Digital Fortress is very hard to put down. I would've finished it in one sitting if not for other commitments. Definitely worth a read!
