About this ebook

The thought-provoking new novel from the international bestselling author whose words change lives.

Linda knows she's lucky.

Yet every morning when she opens her eyes to a so-called new day, she feels like closing them again.

Her friends recommend medication.

But Linda wants to feel more, not less.

And so she embarks on an adventure as unexpected as it is daring, and which reawakens a side of her that she - respectable wife, loving mother, ambitious journalist - thought had disappeared.

Even she can't predict what will happen next...

I don't know but this book doesn't have any Paulo's antic. Is just palable and nothing interesting. I was hoping for the ending to be rather more interesting but nah... like i said... its palable. I bought over $22.95 via apps book and its not worth it. Reading 50 shades of grey is much better than reading this one. Hur hur hur

Really disappointed. I'm sure there was a point to it all for the reader to look at themselves and their life....But compared to The Alchemist (it can't be helped but to compare) it didn't come anywhere near the standards. Shame really

I have read most of Paulo Coelho book and this is by far the worst. The story is very common and he criticised lot my hometown where the story takes place. Nowhere near his other books

About the author

Paulo Coelho’s life remains the primary source of inspiration for his books. He has flirted with death, escaped madness, dallied with drugs, withstood torture, experimented with magic and alchemy, studied philosophy and religion, read voraciously, lost and recovered his faith, and experienced the pain and pleasure of love. In searching for his own place in the world, he discovered answers for the challenges that everyone faces. He believes that, within ourselves, we have the necessary strength to find our own destiny.

His first novel, THE ALCHEMIST, has now sold more than 85 million copies and has been cited as an inspiration by people as diverse as Malala Yousafzai and Pharrell Williams.

Paulo Coelho’s books have sold more than 225 million copies worldwide and he is the most translated living author. He has won 115 international prizes and awards and in 2007 was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace.
