I was pretty disappointed with this one. the cis het white savior complex was particularly heavy in this book and he decides that he doesn't like one of the characters because she's "ugly". the story is pretty difficult to believe in places and some of the science is just plain wrong.

As far as the series goes is just ok...on a side bar every single Reacher novel says that Jack is 6'5'' tall and weighs in at 250 lbs. I'm a retired stuntman, I know money talks , but, Tom Cruise is 5'6" on a good day with lifts in his shoes. I was so disappointed in him being Jack Reacher in the film series ....he is no more Jack then I'm King Kong . But like I said money talks andB×=÷× S=÷×% walks. You owe it to your loyal fans to let this comment, review , stay in this posting...... I will still buy every hardcover, I just can not see the movies......

A great Jack Reacher return thriller. Although, forward looking at further books as well as the movie there are common plot themes that hopefully won't get boring and repetitive.
