I thought it would be cheesy - and it easily could have been. But it was so well written. It didn't feel like the author was trying to write like a teenager. And the relationships are so well written and so different from most YA books. If you want a YA book without that typical YA writing, pick this book up

I loved this book because, even though a few of the events aren't particularly possible, a good deal of it was. The issues that they face are similar to those that many people face and the main character's fears are some that a lot of people are facing as well.

Good story, but not long enough. I was confused most times, and just starting to get into it when it ended.
