About this ebook

Evil tree. Bad Apple? Twenty years ago, all the evil villains were banished from the kingdom of Auradon to the Isle of the Lost--a dark and dreary place protected by a force field that makes it impossible for them to leave. Stripped of their magical powers, the villains now live in total isolation, forgotten by the world. Mal learns from her mother, Maleficent, that the key to true darkness, the Dragon's Eye, is located inside her scepter in the forbidden fortress on the far side of the island. The eye is cursed, and whoever retrieves it will be knocked into a deep sleep for a thousand years. But Mal has a plan to capture it. She'll just need a little help from her "friends." In their quest for the Dragon's Eye, these four kids begin to realize that just because you come from an evil family tree, being good ain't so bad.

I love the book and the movie that was based on the book that Disney made. The way it shifts through the different points of views of all of the very different characters. This book is one of my all time favorites and I've been known to not really like a lot of books. There are only certain books I like to read. So if you are thinking about reading it, I'd really recommend you to do so. I'm sure you won't regret it and you will think you made a really good choice. This book is absolutely the best.

It had a lot of typos, ones so bad that it confused me for a minute because there were words that didn't belong or missing words. Other than that, the book was fairly interesting. Also the book contradicts a small part in the movie when it talks about how Mal stole things too, when in the movie she didn't know what that was when she was asking Jay about it.
