Another nice entry into the Jack Reacher thriller series that doesn't require much prerequisite knowledge of previous stories to enjoy. In this installment, a PI ends up dead while trying to locate Reacher who is digging swimming pools down south. Reacher subsequently searches for the why and adventures and thrills commence. As with the other books there is plenty of action, adventure, thrills, and romance.

You should read the other 2 in the written, not chronological, order before this one. This is a great character building book on top of a really great mystery and a nice twist. It features one of the most villainous bad guys in the series and shows there is layers underneath Reacher's drifter facade.

A pretty solid entry in the series. If you like quick thrillers this will definitely keep you entertained. Child's writing style is quick and easy to read, letting you chew through these books in a short time. Which is good because you're not going to want to put it down.
