I read this book back last and I loved it and I could read again and again and never get broad of it. The first thing that I notice about this book when I started reading it was just how Erica wanted to protect her nephew due to the fact that his father was an abusive cop from Chicago and just how you could sense that her family came first to her. She had to take him someplace where she thought that he would be safe and she did just thatshe took him to a place that she had been as a child and that place was called Mirabelle Island. She become part of the town and so did her nephew and the town people made them fell welcomed even after they found out that she was running from trouble from Chicago. The thing that I liked most about this book was just how she helped the pub update from inside to the outside and helped with the grand re-opening of it. If you have not read this one yet take time to do it and you will feel in love with Mirabelle Island too because I know that I did.
