'Choc-full of romantic heroes romantic heroes that would give Darcy a run for his money.' Carole Matthews

One spectacular Christmas, Miss Perdita 'Poppy' Selby met the man she thought she would love forever. The devilishly attractive Duke of Fletcher was everything a convent-educated girl wished for in a suitor, and their wedding day was perfect. Unfortunately, no one had quite prepared Poppy for what would happen next.

Four years later, Poppy and the duke have become the toast of London society, but behind closed doors the spark of their love affair has burned out. Fortunately, Poppy has a friend in Jemma, the Duchess of Beaumont. Jemma, who is toying with another man herself, reveals to Poppy a world of strategy and desire that will change Poppy's whole outlook on love forever.

I really enjoyed this. I know it is the 2nd book in a series and I have not read the first one, but I was able to get hooked after just a few chapters. I love that the story follows a variety of characters and relationships, I love the humor, I love the attention to detail, I love all of the characters and became very invested in each of their stories. I found it really funny in parts and even got a little teary eyed once or twice! Now I am looking forward to reading more from Eloisa!
