Ratings and reviews

These characters have become part of my own extended family. The writing is still witty and intelligent. My only complaint about book 4 is that the ending is not satisfying as a cliffhanger. I would read book 5 anyway, had the author found a way to wrap the ends of the story in a standalone conclusion. Further hints suggesting there is much more to come propels readers as far. As is, the ending feels gimmicky -- a TV series device asking viewers to stay tuned.

I think the author is wrong to leave the cliff hanger. That should have been allowed for or an ending written. I'm now reluctant to buy any more because of it. It is a pet hate of mine and think it insults the intelligence of the reader. Therefore I have given less stars than I might have given..

Main character depicted in this particular book was on the border of irritating, reckless, and bubbling. Not as good as the first 3 books in this series. Ok reading. Hopeful with next book
