About this ebook

Joining her husband, Kingston, who has returned to his family's farm in Canada following the Great War, Maryelle faces the trials of her new life. Two years and many miles have separated the couple, who were married just before the war. Now, all Maryelle wants is to live with her husband in their own home. But Kingston loves the farm, and Maryelle loves Kingston. The family is less than welcoming to the British bride, and Maryelle longs for an escape, where she can be alone with her husband. Only when the family secrets begin to surface does he consider leaving, but in those secrets is a truth that forces him to stay. Maryelle must wait until the right time to find out if Kingston truly loves her above all else. And she must place her life in God's hands.

About the author

LINDA FORD draws on her own experiences living in the Canadian prairie and Rockies to paint wonderful adventures in romance and faith. She lives in Alberta, Canada, with her family, and she writes as much as her full-time job of taking care of a parapelgic and four kids, who are still at home, will allow. Linda says, 'I thank God that He has given me a full, productive life and that I'm not bored. I thank Him for placing a little bit of the creative energy revealed in His creation into me, and I pray I might use my writing for His honor and glory.'
