About this ebook

The family curse arises in the final Casteel novel from the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of Flowers in the Attic—now a Lifetime movie series event.

Leigh VanVoreen had to escape from Boston’s Farthinggale Manor. The foul secret she harbored within her seemed to darken her life forever. Jillian, her mother, would not believe her, and Tony Tatterton, her stepfather, had betrayed her cruelly.

But the pure devotion of Luke Casteel promised her hope and respect. Only Luke knew her deepest of secrets . . . only Luke would love and protect her. Bravely she bore the suspicions of the Willies’ hillfolk, as she tried to grasp the happiness that had so long eluded her. Leigh prayed with all her heart that her bright, shining dreams would save her from tragedy at last . . .

First off, I have been a reader of Andrews since I was 12. This was the very first book I started with. Ever since then I haven't put them down. I only own 13 of her books. So whenever I see one somewhere I get it. I like finding them at fleemarkets. Good chance of a real great price and where you see one of her books you usually will find 3, to 5 more.

The author jumped all around, confused names, and even completely changed a significant character's name. The first 4 were great... Not so much on book 5, glad it was cheap!!!

Good book but does no one else notice the whole time they're calling Jillian, Julian?
