The sadistic Silence would rather destroy Perdition than let a single soul slip from her grasp and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the thrilling action as Dred and crew form an uneasy alliance with the mercenary commander Vost in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Excitement keeps readers on the edge of their seat as the fun never ends in this deadly game as attacks seem to come from endless sources, limited supplies hinder there every move and trust is a commodity they just can’t afford if they want to stay alive. The well written scenes and details bring the story to life with vivid images and make it easy for the reader to become completely absorbed in the book while the intriguing non-stop action ensures that the reader can’t put the book down. Strong charismatic characters demand the reader’s attention while the emotional turmoil of the situation adds depth and guarantees that the reader can identify with their motivations. Dred and Jael’s romance continues to grow with sizzling passion while the others some romance as well during this fast paced and smooth flowing plot that keeps the adrenaline pumping throughout especially as Dred and her crew survive the never ending challenges by the seat of their pants. The Sirantha Jax universe provides dangerously exciting adventures with lots of interesting elements and a believable atmosphere that has you wanting just one more adventure and the Dred Chronicles certainly provided one and I have to say that the conclusion to the trilogy was spectacularly exciting and grand and I hope there will be future adventurous jumps through space for me.
