I wanted to like this book. It started out promising then spent two thirds of the plot talking about God and babies, before finally picking up and getting somewhat exciting in the final chapters. Hardly what I'd class as crime fiction. More of a semi-romance novel with a heavy dose of Bible camp.

Parts seemed to be very predictable, yet other times I wanted to slap Taylor upside the head for being so stubborn. The action scenes were well written.

Thoroughly entertaining, keeps you guessing right up to the surprise denouement. Suspense and fast pace makes for a really good read.
