I never read the book and based on the some of the reviews probably will not. I'm commenting to say that the Movie changed my life, for the better. Living in Canada for my entire life at the age of 55 I stepped out of my comfort zone and travelled to Thailand and Vietnam and been back there for a total of 4 times. The last 2 times I spent 5 months each time. I'm working up the courage to go to India. 😎👍

I was eager to read the book having watched and loved both of the fantastic Marigold films and it didn't disappoint at all. It's funny, heartwarming and thought provoking with the message that life definitely doesn't end when you are over a certain age. It also transports you to the vivid colours of India and how life is lived there. If you loved the films then you'll definitely love the book.
