I discovered this book in my local library over twenty years ago. l loved it so much that I bought my own copy. I have read and re-read it so many times. I'm glad to now have a digital copy to enjoy. I would love to know what other adventures these characters have had.

It's not one Patricia's best stories. It's very fragmented and not as put together as her other series. It was a struggle to keep going because it just doesn't flow smoothly. I was charmed with Kith's character. The Hob really is what kept me reading. I liked him and his mischievous nature. Aren lacked a lot in a character and person. Rook and Quilliar were far more interesting than she. Shoot, even the horses were more interesting. Not a favorite of mine. I wish she'd consider rewriting and fleshing it out

Enjoyed this novel as much as I have enjoyed all Patricia Briggs novels so far. Looking forward to many more from her.
