Charles Johnson AKA The Homeless Poet was born in Wilmington, DE July 11, 1960. A self-taught poet "A gift from God," Charles has written over 12 books. Including: Poems Of Encouragement, Why Should I Be Thankful?, Encouraging Poems For Veterans And Their Families, The Streets Of Wilmington, DE and Encouraging Poems For Children & Mommies & Daddies. Once homeless and suffering with mental illness, he uses his time to make churches and the community more aware of mental illness and homelessness.
