Christine Pullein-Thompson

Christine's passion for horses began at an early age. In fact she and her sisters were so enthralled by the creatures their parents set a "Don't talk horses at meals" rule!. Christine learned to ride aged seven, and from there, her life revolved around her favourite animal. As an adult, she moved to Virginia, USA, where she worked as a professional rider. When she returned to her home in Oxfordshire, she married and helped to launch two branches of Riding for the Disabled. From an early age, Christine often wrote with her twin, Diana, and their elder sister Josephine, though all three also authored many stories individually, Christine was the most prolific writer, publishing over 100 titles.
