Read this review before buying this movie so you will know what your about to watch this movie is about a girl named Moana she lives in this island and there's a demi God named Maui he steals some green jewel thing from the mother island and since the mother island is not alive so will land not be able to live so the island turns all ugly and Moana goes on a journey with Maui to find the jewel to save mother island with music and cute animals it has funny parts and heart warming fun but... this movie is fast pace has alot of parts you can predeict that will happen and its not original with its story its just like any other Disney princess movie its basically another frozen but without snow and just heat and water its a ok movie I'll rate it a 3 out of 5 I can see why zootopia won a Oscar against Moana.... (movie is reccmonded for frozen loving young girls and for kids not sure about for the family tho...)

The ocean looks so real I wanted to step right in! Every person who loves islands will have to restrain themselves from touching the "water". I also loved how perfectly ethnic the characters look - excellent coloring and authentic physical features. The movie is visually dynamic with vivid colors and so much to see. It really feels like you're immersed in the island environment and can touch and taste everything. The story is and mostly "message free" , sticking to the tried and true (and safe) Disney theme of discovering your higher purpose in life. Aspects of the story and animation are tastefully borrowed from the Disney Movies Hall of Fame including Hercules, Mulan, Lilo & Snitch, Pirates of the Caribbeans and of course, Little Mermaid, but Moana stands on its own as a new classic. Truly a family favorite and good for the teens, tweens, adults and anyone who wants to go on a beautiful, ocean voyage (to fight a lava monster!).
