About this movie

Six contestants with suicidal tendencies are brougnt in to compete in a series of Russian Roulette style games by a Las Vegas gaming consortium. The winner will get $1 million each year for life. A raw independent film, Sixes and the One Eyed King received rave reviews when it was premiered in Los Angeles but quickly dropped from sight when its distributor went bankrupt.

This movie is inspired by the dramatic television series of early sixties and films of the fifties. The story follows six suicidal contestants who participate in a series of Russian Roulette style games in hopes of winning $1,000,000. The contest is part of an on-line gambling service that allows subscribers to wager on the outcome of the games. One of these international high rollers enjoys betting on who will live and who will die until he recognizes one of the contestants as his missing cousin.

This movie stars Nicole Strykowski and was directed by Ray Nomoto Robison. "Sixes" has been selected by ten film festivals and won Audience Awards at the Miami Underground Film Festival and the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival. It also won Best Feature Film at the Rogue Independent Film Festival.
