Wasn't expecting much to be honest. I figured it would be worth an evening of mindless distraction. Hadn't heard anything about it before, but it had some good reviews, so I figured i'd give it a shot. I really enjoyed it. I've watched all the Walking Dead episodes so I had one idea of how the 'undead' moved and behaved. It was spooky and refreshing to see how much faster these undead moved. The pacing was solid and the 'bad guy' did the obligatory "jerk moves". This perhaps ended in a somewhat predictable manner, but I thought it was well done. The only thing I found bothersome was that at times someone bitten would zombify within seconds, other times it would take many minutes. Inconsistent and annoying, but I suppose necessary for certain plot points. Last thought: This had a hint of another movie on a train (Snowpiercer)

Don't know what all the positive reviews are talking about. Korean's need to stick to making soap opera's and its ok for me to say that since im korean myself lol. This movie was just waaaaaaayyy toooooo over the top dramatic and i found myself rolling my eyes through literally a fourth of the movie. I do however, think i found my choice for most irritating child actress/actor of all time after watching this movie. Started off decent, but just got more and more unrealistic and over dramatic as it went along.

First, if you hated World War Z, then you won't like Train to Busan. If you thought WWZ was decent but could have been a lot better with tighter narrative (among other improvements), then you'll love Busan. Gut-wrenching action combined with genuine human relationships made this a real winner. My wife and I were glued to the screen. Way faster and more intense than most of The Walking Dead, if you're wondering. Train to Busan is in my top-ten list for 2016.
