1 Vietnam's Bigfoot
7/10/12
The Destination Truth team undertakes a groundbreaking expedition to South East Asia, traveling deep into uncharted wilderness and pushing the limit on a daring quest for Vietnam's Bigfoot. Far from civilization's blinking eye, they find themselves in hot pursuit of a dangerous monster. On the verge of a discovery, the team pushes deeper into the unknown, exploring a massive cave where the shadows are not only theirs. In this extraordinary investigation, Josh makes one of the most momentous finds in DT history that may shock the world.
2 Return to the Haunted Forest / Belize Goblin
7/10/12
The team returns to the scene of its most harrowing expedition and most terrifying investigation: Romania's Haunted Forest. Josh's former cameraman, Evan, returns two years later to the woods where he believes he was assaulted by an angry, dark spirit. The forest may have something waiting for him again. The team then jets across Belize on the hunt for a jungle monster known as the Belize Goblin. Deep in the rainforest, Josh gets in over his head in a flooded cave.
3 Ghosts Of Cannibal Village / Kapre
7/17/12
Josh and his team journey across Fiji looking for the ghosts of men devoured by a former cannibal tribe. Deep in the island's interior, Josh finds the former cannibal village, and a tropical paradise turns into a paranormal nightmare. Team Truth then blazes through the wilderness of the Philippines in search of a deadly water monster. In the crumbling remains of a former military base, the team discovers that this mythical creature might be more than just a legend.
4 Alien Invaders / Swedish Lake Monster
7/24/12
Josh and his team traverse across Kazakhstan to investigate sightings of a crashed alien spacecraft and a potential government cover-up. Deep in the surrounding forests, Josh searches for evidence of UFOs and has an otherworldly encounter. Team Truth then cruises across Sweden to investigate the 500-year old mystery of a terrifying lake creature. Diving to murky depths, and exploring the coastline at night, the team discovers that there is more than fish that lurk below these frigid waters.
5 Spirits Of Tikal / Creature From the Black Lagoon
7/31/12
Deep in the jungles of Central America, Josh investigates the reportedly haunted remains of the Mayan city of Tikal. In one of the world's most spectacular ruins, the team dares to come face to face with the ghosts of sacrificial victims. Then, a terrifying sea creature in the South Pacific inspires the team to seek the truth behind its legend. Villagers in Fiji claim the beast is real, and once the sun goes down, the team wades into potentially deadly waters.
6 Vampire Monsters / Island of the Damned
8/7/12
The team travels to Romania to investigate reports of a real-life vampire monster. After a harrowing trek through the back woods of Transylvania, the team has a run-in with something lurking in the forest. And reports of a lonely island in Sweden that is haunted by the ghosts of witches sets the team on a course to the icy coast. In the rugged Scandinavian backcountry, this paranormal investigation takes a terrifying turn for the worse!
7 Hanging Coffins / Kazakh Monster
8/14/12
Josh leads a perilous road trip across the Philippines and braves the dangerous wilderness, searching for paranormal activity in hanging coffins. In this death-defying investigation, Josh makes one of the most shocking paranormal discoveries in DT history. Then, the search of Central Asia's Bigfoot brings the team to Kazakhstan. Climbing along sheer cliffs and searching traditional villages for answers, the truth behind the legend may be closer than they think.

About this show

Every week, Josh Gates, a world adventurer and eager truth-seeker, and his small crew of production buddies visit a different international destination alleged to be the home of a notorious, supernatural or mysterious creature, such as the Chilean Chupacabra, as well as some lesser-known phenomena, such as the dinosaur-like creatures reported in the skies over Papua New Guinea, a haunted village in Thailand and the wolfman of Argentina. Josh searches for evidence to either prove or debunk these stories by talking to witnesses and experts and immersing himself in the local culture.

As an investigator I must say you barely ever catch evidence on film. So many people want to scream fake without actually experiencing any paranormal things in their life. Josh Gates and his team started investigating before there was a show, though they only did stuff in the United States, they had the experience to provide for a show world wide. Cuddos to the Destination Truth team. Good luck on your future investigations. From the Eldora Paranormal Research team :)

It was a fun show and josh was a blast (even if it was a little hokey at times). I'd still be watching (and now buying) if it was still around. I guess you aren't supposed to like anything that isn't profitable enough for someone. I used to watch it on cable tv but when we cut back on our cable service I started buying the eps I had missed. I was crazy about Ryder too (hope I got the name right as I haven't watched DT in awhile).
