Absolutely LOVED this show, from beginning to end. And for all those that have said that they wished it had come back for subsequent seasons, you haven't seen all the first season's episodes, as in the final installment it explains everything.

Considering how strong Life on Mars was in its first season, I was both surprised and disappointed to find out that it wouldn't be back the following year. While I never heard this from anyone involved with the show, I have always suspected that the early demise to Life on Mars may have more to do w/ the writers strike of that time, than the possibility of low ratings. Anyone who's watched the series should have no problem imagining countless storylines that should've kept it on the air for years.

It was a shame that this show ended,I absolutely loved this show. I had tried for a long time to find it on line. I was unable to see the last episode. It would be nice to see it make a comeback.
