Although it's unlikely I'll have the first review people see, I still want to warn you NOT to read other reviews here. Some people don't know how to restrain spoilers. Seriously, this is one of the best animes I've ever seen, you don't want spoilers to ruin it all. Wait until you finish the series (or give up on it. Though, that's unlikely if you can get at least a few episodes into it) before coming back here to read about it. Oh, and uh... don't be deterred by the second intro. It's strange, and it's random, but the good news is that it appears halfway through the series, where you're already hooked. That also brings up issues for children watching, 'cause it says the f word like 5 times, and it appears in like 17 episodes. You could skip, but I think a lot of adults will actually enjoy the intro after watching it enough (doesn't make it any less strange though).

A Mess Of a Human Being

It is a very great anime to watch. The show is very well written, the characters, some, are very unique(if you get past the whole Misa, or Near stuff) and is very clever. Light is a brat (my opinion) mostly because of his God complex. After this there will be some spoilers After L died it kinda went down hill.... and don't get my started on the ending >->
