Each episode was great... Except he explained every aspect of every idea (which eventually got boring) he has, not to mention some characters weren't very colorful (like I can talk.) they didn't feel very alive compared to most other series and only were written to fit the script. Everything he ever did in the series related to his goal, even going to the convienience store or on a date and constantly talked about his great goal.

Whoever was responsible for this garbage must never have heard the phrase "show, don't tell." This was my first anime, so I don't know if this is a typical thing, but it was agonizing to sit through characters carefully describing their every thought and explaining every action. I only kept with it for the interesting premise.

I adore this series. The only problem i have with it is that it kinda drops (just a little) after episode 25. It did introduce my favourite character though, Near!
